Privacy Policy

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is built into the core of Neo Page. We designed it to be private by default, keeping your data where it belongs: on your computer.

Our Philosophy

We believe your browser start page should be a private space. Neo Page doesn't track you, doesn't collect your data, and doesn't sell your information. Everything happens locally in your browser.

Everything Stays Local

Neo Page uses your browser's local storage to remember your settings. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any servers.

  • Your Style: We save your theme choices (like Pastel or Night modes) and custom colors locally.
  • Your Shortcuts: Your bookmarks, folders, and nicknames are stored only on your machine.
  • Your Control: Because this data is only on your computer, deleting your browser cache or resetting Neo Page will permanently clear your settings.

Weather & Location

When you use the weather features or smart greetings, we need to know your general location to be accurate.

  • Instant Requests: We use your IP address to find your local weather, but we never store it or link it to you.
  • No Tracking: Your location is used only for the moment you open your tab and is never logged.
  • Optional: You can turn these features off at any time if you prefer.

Search Engines

Neo Page helps you reach your favorite search engines quickly. Whether you use Google, DuckDuckGo, or ChatGPT, we just provide the bridge.

Once you leave Neo Page to see your search results, you are subject to that search engine's own privacy policy. We encourage you to use engines that respect your privacy.

Zero Telemetry

Many extensions track how you use them. We don't. Neo Page has no tracking pixels, no analytics, and no background reporting. It is a tool for you, and only you.
