Privacy Policy

User Privacy Framework

Our core architecture prioritizes your digital privacy natively. Understand exactly how Neo Page handles, processes, and protects your data autonomously.

Introduction

At Neo Page, we fundamentally believe that your browser footprint and daily workflows belong entirely to you. This Privacy Policy details precisely what data our extension interacts with to deliver its premium dashboard experience.

Short Version: We do not track, collect, store, or monetize your personal data. The vast majority of Neo Page runs completely locally and autonomously inside your browser.

Local Data Storage

To provide a personalized dashboard, Neo Page requires saving specific configuration endpoints. This data is written strictly and natively into your browser's encrypted localStorage database.

  • Interface Parameters: Selected hardware themes (Light/Dark mode preferences) and customized search engine selections.
  • Personalization Arrays: Custom greeting nicknames and your selected shortcut bookmarks.
  • Data Ownership: Because this string data is saved securely in your direct local machine environment, we have absolutely zero access to it. If you completely reset the extension or clear your browser cache, the data is irreversibly wiped.

Weather & Location Data

Neo Page powers dynamic Smart Greetings natively integrated with live, real-world meteorological feedback.

  • IP Parsing: If the weather parameter is active, the extension processes your IP address locally strictly to determine the generalized geographic region required to fetch relevant local weather coordinates.
  • No Transit Storage: This IP request is fired instantly, fetched natively, and immediately terminated. We do not store, map, or log your IP address on any central processing servers.
  • Opt-in Nature: This functionality is purely optional and explicitly depends on your system's network configuration and IP visibility.

Third-Party Services & Engines

Neo Page serves as a sophisticated router pointing to an array of powerful search ecosystems (e.g., Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, Grok, DuckDuckGo, Brave, YouTube, Amazon). When you execute a unified search, you are securely transferred onto their respective domains natively.

Once you are routed onto a search partner platform, your digital footprint falls under the privacy infrastructure and policies defined explicitly by that corresponding organization. We hold absolutely no responsibility for telemetry tracked natively by those external engines.

Telemetry & Analytics

We believe in a silent and frictionless experience. Neo Page contains zero tracking pixels, embeds no generalized analytics engines, and does not map physical user click-through rates. The extension operates autonomously without actively reporting performance telemetry back to us.
