Neo Page v6.0

Saved backgrounds, image editing, search layout options and new BETA features.

Background Images

  • Upload and save multiple background images inside Neo Page. Original image quality is retained.
  • Adjust the focus and crop of an image to suit your page. Edit Image opens a preview with Fill/Fit and position controls. Use the preview, sliders or arrow keys; Shift moves further.
  • Each image remembers its position. Clear the active background without deleting saved images, or remove images from the gallery.
  • A separate browser-local recovery copy helps restore missing images. Image URLs are still supported.

Search Bar

  • Show Search Bar: The show/hide toggle is now available in Search settings, outside BETA.
  • Search Box Position: Place the search bar, greeting and favourites at the Top, Center or Bottom.
  • The bottom position sits lower, with room for the 16-favourite view. Engine dropdowns, suggestions and calculator results open above the search bar when needed.

New in BETA

  • Design Theme: Switch from the default Glass design to Play. Play follows your selected colour theme.
  • Font Choice: Choose minimalist System or Clean fonts, or aesthetic Rounded and Serif fonts.
  • Workspace Profiles: Personal, Work and Focus each save their own favourites and appearance.
  • Search Box Alignment: Move the search bar, greeting and favourites to the Left, Middle or Right.
  • The language dropdown shows native names and the selected language, with keyboard navigation. English (UK), Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, French and German are supported.
  • Other BETA options include favourite placement, dynamic backgrounds, coloured icons and countdown placement.
  • Turning BETA off resets BETA options to their defaults and returns to Personal. Search visibility and Top/Center/Bottom positioning remain available.

Settings & Appearance

  • Settings now open in a floating sidebar. The pencil expands into the panel; closing it with the cross brings it back.
  • Original colours, borders, dropdown shapes, and the sliding settings tabs have been restored. Glass remains the default design.
  • Favourites no longer pop up on hover. Long greetings wrap, the search field fits smaller windows, and small controls are easier to see.
  • The greeting has a softer drop shadow on images. Clock and date styling follows the original design, and countdowns use the theme colour.
  • The saved background is applied while loading to avoid the default blue flash.
  • Information tips are centred on their icons. Advanced settings use the original short descriptions below their labels.

Other Fixes

  • Favourite, folder and search-engine icons try alternative sources if an icon fails to load. Initials remain visible while loading or if no icon is found.
  • Search alignment moves the greeting and favourites together. Wrapped favourites and folder navigation work in smaller windows.

Import & Export

  • Backups include the new search settings, fonts and workspace profiles, along with favourites, folders, engines, countdowns and image positioning.
  • Older search settings are migrated on import. Invalid files leave preferences unchanged; valid imports are saved before reloading.
  • Uploaded images stay in this browser and are not included in preference exports. Upload them separately when moving to another browser. Image URLs are included.
